We at Cedar Rise Recovery House provides safe, structured housing and peer-based support for individuals overcoming substance use and 

 

behavioral challenges. Our purpose is to foster dignity, accountability, and transformation in a recovery-focused, family-like environment. 

 

We connect residents with community resources that support sobriety, wellness, and long-term success. 

Orientation & Rules

Eligibility Criteria Applicants must agree Cedar Rise is a recovery residence, not a rental. Violations may result in dismissal and forfeiture of 

 

deposit.

 

1. Residents must complete a 30-day transitional period, participate in recovery, follow house rules, pay required deposits and fees, disclose 

 

medical info, and submit to testing.

  • A. Program Nature & Admission:

 

  • Cedar Rise Recovery House is a recovery program, not rental housing. Residency is contingent upon rule compliance.
  •  
  • Rule violations may result in immediate dismissal and forfeiture of the security deposit.
  •  
  • Final admission decisions are made by the House Manager or Program Coordinator.
  •  

B. Financial Requirements:

  •  
  • Program Fee: $600 per month
  •  
  • Security Deposit: $250 (refundable only with written 30-day notice, fees current, and exit in good standing)
  •  
  • Deposits are forfeited upon dismissal for rule violations.
  •  

C. Transitional Period:

  •  
  • All residents complete a 30-day transitional phase, including one recovery workbook.
  •  
  • Failure to complete extends the transition.
  •  
  • Curfew during transition: 10:00 PM (unless approved).
  •  
  • Violations during this phase may result in restart or dismissal.
  •  

D. Recovery Expectations:

  •  
  • Active participation in a personal recovery plan is required.
  •  
  • Minimum of 3 recovery meetings per week.
  •  
  • Sunday House Meetings are mandatory.
  •  
  • Residents must submit to drug/alcohol testing when requested. Refusal results in DISMISSAL.

  • **Violence, threats, or intimidation

  • **Theft

  • **Verbal abuse or discrimination of any kind

  • **Sexual activity on property

F. Substance Use Violations:

  • 1st offense:

  • Restart transition + strike

  • Relocation or dismissal

  • Dismissal = loss of deposit

G. Prohibited Items & Behaviors:

 
  • Alcohol, drugs, non-prescribed meds

  • Weapons
  •  
  • Alcohol-based products (mouthwash, sprays)
  •  
  • Candles, incense, unapproved heaters
  •  
  • Gambling, property damage, borrowing/lending money
  •  

H. Visitors & Guests:

 
  • No overnight guests
  •  
  • Visiting hours: 6:00–10:00 PM (Sat & Sun only)
  •  
  • Visitors remain in common areas only
  •  
  • Staff may restrict visitors to protect recovery
  •  

I. Absences:

 

Without notice for 24 hours or more is considered voluntary termination.

K. Housekeeping & Living Standards:

 
  • Residents complete assigned chores
  •  
  • Rooms must be kept clean and orderly

  • No food or drinks in bedrooms
  •  
  • No sleeping in common areas
  •  

L. Personal Property:

 
  • Belongings limited to assigned space (maximum: two garbage bags).
  •  

M. Smoking & Safety:

 
  • No smoking, vaping, or tobacco use inside
  •  
  • Residents must follow fire-safety and energy-conservation rules

 

N. Confidentiality & Conduct:

 
  • Respect the privacy of all residents
  •  
  • Maintain respectful, recovery-focused behavior at all times
